VIC LEWIS My Life My Way - Sessions 1938-1974 (One-off Test Pressing for the 1975 UK 56-track 4-LP box set, pressed on a mixture of Brown Vinyl shades when held to the light. The labels are plain white with annotated side details & machine stamped matrices in the run-offs. Documents the late bandleader's life's work & stars everyone from Tubby Hayes, Dill Jones, Ronnie Ross, Ronnie Scott, Kenny Wheeler, John Williams, Vic Ash, Victor Feldman & more, housed in the retail laminated & embossed 12" square box with 12-page illustrated booklet of detailed notes & recording dates. This is a near mint archive copy obtained directly from the private collection of the late Vic Lewis himself & quite possibly unique! A special treat for British jazz collectors SPECB103)
