STAN GETZ Imported From Europe (1959 UK 7-track mono LP on a maroon & gold 'Nipper' label, recorded during the Stockholm, Sweden sessions of '58 [Getz was a voluntary expatriate based in Denmark at this point]. Features some of the best Scandinavian jazz musicians of the era; Lars Gullin [Baritone], Bengt Hallberg or Jan Johansson [Piano], Ake Persson [Trombone], Benny Bailey [Trumpet], Erik Nordstrom [Tenor], Gunnar Johnsson [Bass] & William Schloepffe [Drums]. The front laminatedflipback sleeve is a lovely example with minimal signs of age. The vinyl too is Excellent with few signs of play CLP1351)
