DAVID BOWIE The World Of David Bowie (Scarce sealed export 1970 Australian 14-track stereo LP, housed in the 'curly haired' Bowie sleeve with 'Made & Distributed in Australia by EMI' print on the back. Historically, this was the first official Bowie compilation. The tracks were handpicked by Bowie himself & feature a mix of songs from his debut as well as the previously unreleased, Karma Man & Let Me Sleep Beside You [both starring John McLaughlin] & In the Heat of the Morning. This copy was sealed for export to the States. Being an import, it appears this edition didn't actually hit the shops in the US until years later - the '5/80' dated dollar price sticker is still attached.
