Tracklisting & More Information

More Information
The second studio album by the English heavy metal, released on the 18th September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Contains several of the band's signature songs including Iron Man, War Pigs and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching number four in the UK charts.

Condition
Unlike the UK release, this South African example has a non-gatefold sleeve which is front laminated with top & bottom flipbacks, and as mentioned in the main description this has the credit to 'Jim Simpson,Big Bear' on reverse.

This example has some minor laminate lift and creases to the laminate on the front, the mostly white back shows some age with some foxing and ringwear, but has no rips or splits.

The label features the large swirl logo above spindle and 'VERTIGO' text at the bottom. Both labels have a few light spindle marks but are otherwise clean.

As with a lot of records we see from this part of the world, the vinyl has some has a few noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. We have professionally cleaned & play tested, and can confirm it displays no major deterioration in sound quality, with just a few light clicks and general background noise.

This is far from mint but is a really nice example and the first we have ever seen, a must have for any collection
