ART FARMER Art (1960 US first issue 8-track deep groove mono LP on a black on grey Argo label, recorded at the Nola Penthouse Studios, NYC that year, with Tommy Flanagan, Tommy Williams & Albert Heath, front laminate pasted sleeve with stunning cover painting of Art by the distinguised German artist, Ernest Fiene, one of the great jazz sleeves of its day. The cover shows merely the lightest evidence of its age at the very far reaching corners [tiny paper split or two] & otherwise is practically near mint. The vinyl is a clean VG/VG+ with just some faint cosmetic wear in places not interfering with play. The sound quality is incredible & what a find - we have never seen this one before! LP-678)
