JIMMIE LUNCEFORD & HIS ORCHESTRA Stratospheric (One-Off Test Pressing for the 1986 UK 15-track LP, gathering some of the finest Big Band sounds of the mid thirties from the Cotton Club, Harlem. This test pressing carries the working title 'Rhythm Business' [confusingly, that title was used for the 'HEP1013' release, but the content here does indeed match that of 'HEP1011' which was named 'Stratospheric']. The custom stamped white label is annotated with the matrix/side detail & '2/9/85' review date & comes housed in a plain white die-cut sleeve with tracklist sticker. The vinyl is Excellent with light signs of play only HEP1011)
