VARIOUS London School Of Economics Concert Poster (Vintage 1969 UK 19" x 28" poster for a series of groovy gigs held at the LSE, Houghton St in London. The dates concerned are for the 4th of October [Family & Grail], 18th October [Eclection, Blossom Toes & Third Ear Band], 1st November [Howlin' Wolf & Jelly Bread], 15th November [Freddie King, Killing Machine & Sam Apple Pie] & 29th November [Savoy Brown & White Trash]. The poster is designed in a comic-strip fashion by the artistGed Rumak & is a spoof of the Beanos comic, with the venue dates & ticket prices featured inside a series of speech bubble captions. In the bottom right corner is the artist's name & 'printed by 'The Word'' text along with a telephone number. This amazing & very rare colour poster is in Excellent condition, with no writing or tears & remains off-white around the border. It is stored rolled & unbacked. There are eight small pin-holes in total from where it was once displayed. If you or anyone you know were at any of the gigs, this is surely a trip down memory lane & now highly collectable)
