DIZZY GILLESPIE Dizzy In Greece (1979 Japanese issue of the 1957 10-track mono LP, documenting Dizzy & a showstopping band winning over an Athens crowd, many of whom would have been students previously involved in anti-American riots of May, 1956. The pasted sleeve replicates the original artwork and has Greek titles on the back & recounts Dizzy on tour receiving a new outfit in Dacca & exchanging trumpet lessons for a cigarette case in Turkey! The sleeve shows light shelfwear, whilst the record has a few light hairlines and is Excellent MV-2630)
