Condition : -

The gatefold picture sleeve has some edge wear with age, as originals were never laminated. Light foxing is visible when the sleeve is tilted into the light, however not seen viewed normally, with just a little light foxing nearest the spine in the centre of the gatefold. The spine is clearly legible and the print inside unblemished. There are no rips or tears, making this a very good example indeed.

The labels are smooth textured black with silver print. There are spindle marks both sides to indicate play, but no tears or blemishes to the design.

The vinyl is graded Good and has been professionally cleaned and shows light scuffs and scratches across the whole surface of both sides. The most severe scratch is on the last track on side two, which can be heard as a series of fairly loud clicks through the last half of the track. The record has been fully play tested and no skips or jumps were evident, although the accoustic nature of the album means that quieter passages reveal light clicks etc.

As a bonus the original owner has glued two original newspaper articles about Vashti to the inner sleeve, one from 1971 and the other from 2003.

To sum up, this is a record which is far from in ideal condition, but with so few original copies available, can be forgiven for its short comings.
