SONNY ROLLINS QUARTET Worktime (Incredibly Rare 1958 UK 5-track mono LP recorded in 1955 with pianist Ray Bryant, bassist George Morrow & drummer Max Roach, housed in a lovely & unique fully laminated picture sleeve with flipbacks & pinched spine. The heavyweight vinyl is a high quality Esquire press with flat edge & hand scratched 'RVG' lettering in the run-outs. The delicate cover [VG] has some laminate peel in places & a 1.5" paper split in the spine, forgiveable with age, withall text clearly legible, no writing & nothing that spoils Michael Sherlock's wonderful design. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & reveals a couple of faint marks & very minor hairlines which have little effect on play. A nice, if not mint, example of this hard to find Esquire title)
