AHMAD JAMAL The Piano Scene Of Ahmad Jamal (One-Off Test Pressing for the 2014 German all analogue audiophile issue of the 1959 12-track mono LP, pressed on 180gram Vinyl for Speakers Corner. Also stars Ray Crawford [guitar], Eddie Calhoun [bass] & Walter Perkins [drums], in a set of stellar recordings from 1951-55. Jamal was a big influence on Miles Davis during the making of Kind Of Blue & has long been deserving of similar praise to that of Bill Evans. The labels are plain white with 'Only For Promotion' print either side & the vinyl is near 'as new' LN3631)
