THE BEATLES Hit Disk & Photographic Album (Impossibly Rare & Very Limited Mid 80s Japanese-only 3-LP box set, a promotional-only package for the Nissan Pulsar car released for a very brief spell in Japan only when 'Oh! Darling' was being usedon the soundtrack for a Japanese Nissan advert. The contents comprise vinyl stock copies of the Abbey Road LP [EAS-80560], Let It Be LP [EAS-80561] & the Hey Jude LP [EAS-80570], with each part complete with its deluxe picture sleeve, fold-outJapanese insert & Union Flag obi-strip. The sleeves are Excellent with very little wear [tiny spot of foxing detected], still in open protective bags & the vinyl discs are UNPLAYED. Also includes a softback 1985 Japanese edition of Dezo Hoffmann's photobook titled 'Photographic Record Of Their First Tour', with Japanese leaflet & obi-strip, all Near Mint. The outer packaging is one of a kind - a custom 12" tall card envelope box with unique Nissan Pulsar lettering, '15th Anniversary' print [for Apple Records presumably, production for the Pulsar began in 1978] & large Apple logo in blue on white. The box is in Excellent condition with very little age wear. This is the one & only example of this Beatles set we have seen. It's as nice as it gets & is unlikely to ever be spotted again!)
