SCRITTI POLITTI Skank Bloc Bologna (Debut 1978 UK private press 3-track 7" single, also featuring Is And Ought The Western World & 28/8/78, a classic DIY release which lists all prices paid for each & every one of the 2500 copies pressed. The labels are rubber stamped by hand & housed in a white inner & wraparound poster sleeve. This copy has a dedication penned on the white inner by Simon Emmerson to his friends who helped him in 'a time of dire need' by giving him 'shelter, food anthe hallucinogenic mushroom' as well as some more unrepeatable comments - a fantastic personal snapshot of the start of a career in music, certainly a post-punk one off! The sleev has just a little light age discolouration and the vinyl appears barely played! SCRIT1)
