ROSCOE MITCHELL SEXTET Sound (Debut 1966 UK 3-track mono LP on a rough textured blue Delmark label, recorded at Sound Studios in Chicago. Highly regarded in free jazz circles, the album documents the early chemistry between future Art Ensembleof Chicago members Mitchell, Lester Bowie & Malachi Favors & still sounds cutting edge today. The vinyl is UK pressed & the picture sleeve is US manufactured, & this is as nice a copy as you are likely to find. The cover shows very little agewear & the vinyl appears Near Mint)
