STEVE HIETT Down On The Road By The Beach (Rare 1983 Japanese-only promotional sample 13-track LP for review ahead of release, a stunning lost classic which caught the zeitgeist of the day in Japan, where breezy City-Pop, AOR, Jazz-Fusion & high class production took sail. This one-off album delivers blissful songwriting track after track with deep warm tones, gorgeous shimmering guitar work & a lost-at-sea melancholia. Despite a little foxing to the lyric insert, the picture sleeve is Excellent with very little age wear & the vinyl is near 'as new'. Recommended 28AP2525)
