ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS Mosaic (Limited Edition 2013 US 6-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Originally released in 1961, this was the first recording of Blakey's Jazz Messengers as a sextet, performed alongside Freddie Hubbard on Trumpet, Curtis Fuller on Trombone, Wayne Shorter on Tenor, Cedar Walton on Piano &Jymie Merritt on Bass. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve is Near Mint & the vinyl discs are Excellent with very little sign of play MMBST-84090)
