ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS A Night In Tunisia (Limited Edition 2008 US 5-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note in 1960, this is a prime example of the Blakey group sound, performed alongside Lee Morgan [trumpet], Wayne Shorter [tenor saxophone], Bobby Timmons [piano] & Jymie Merritt [bass]. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve is Near Mint & the vinyl discs are Excellent to Near Mint with very few signs of play MMBST-84049)
