THE SCORE Please Please Me (Very Rare 1966 UK 'A' label demonstration vinyl 7" for the one-off single release, with custom 'Demonstration Sample - Not For Sale' print & original '23-11-66' release date text. This British Freakbeat re-write of the Lennon/McCartney tune is barely recognisable from the original version, incorporating elements of the Stones' 'Satisfaction' & The Yardbirds' 'Shapes Of Things', with pounding drums, spiky guitar & feedback. Also features the smooth soul of 'Beg Me'. The labels are in Excellent condition with no writing or tears & the four-prong centre is intact, complete with the period die-cut Decca company sleeve. The vinyl has been play tested & the sound is fantastic with no jumps. The vinyl grades VG/VG- due to multiple paper hairlines & scuff marks causing only minor background surface during playback. Definitely one for the completist! F.12527)
