JOHN SURMAN & FRIENDS Where Fortune Smiles (2019 UK strictly limited edition white label TEST PRESSING vinyl LP edition of the album which was released exclusively as a PICTURE DISC for Record Store Day. Performed by the legendary enterprise of John McLaughlin [guitar], John Surman [reeds], Karl Berger [vibes], Stu Martin [drums] & Dave Holland [bass] and recorded at the end of May 1970 at the Apostolic Studios in New York, 'Fortune Smiles' is a jazz fusion LP that sees all five musicians experimenting equally with their outstanding music qualities. The vinyl is UNPLAYED issued in a custom printed white die-cut card sleeve with a resealable outer bag! TB6416)
