SLADE My Town (Rare 1973 US 10" single-sided methyl cellulose metal based lacquer reference test pressing for the B-side of the 7" single release My Friend Stan; although not released in America, this release was pressed there and exported back to Britain to meet the demand of a nation in the midst of Slade fever! A really fascinating item, the playing area is 7" in diameter and pressed on to a 10" disc, leaving a very substantial area of dead wax around the outer edge, with a printed Cutting Room label and typed annotations to show the artist, title, time, side number and speed, housed in a plain die-cut sleeve. There are light cosmetic scuffs on the surface as one may expect for an in-house item not designed with any longevity in mind, but nothing too severe. Included with this is the actual commercial release of the single to make a great set. Get down and get with it!)
