VENOM Black Metal (What can be said about an album that named an entire genre? Legendary 1982 UK 10-track LP pressed on Grey Marbled Vinyl, with a red on black Venom head logo label on one side and tracklisting label on the other. This is the groups second album, and cited as perhaps the most important influence in the development of black metal, thrash metal, death metal & other related styles that are often grouped under the extreme metal umbrella. This edition has a picture sleeve adorned with a horned goat on the front in silver along with the title and has a black background, the back has the chilling warning 'Home Taping Is Killing Music - So Are Venom' on the back. This example remains in the open shop shrink with a vintage price sticker on the sleeve below the shrink, therefore displays just a little wear along the opening edge. The labels both remain clean with only a few light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl remains excellent with only a few light cosmetic surface marks & hairlines. A nice example and the first version of this coloured vinyl we have ever seen NEAT1005)
