ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS Indestructible (Limited Edition 2012 US 5-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1964, this was the final Jazz Messengers album for Wayner Shorter, who would shortly leave to join the Miles Davis Quintet, fleshed out with a formidable cast including Lee Morgan, CurtisFuller, Cedar Walton & Reggie Workman. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve & vinyl discs are Near Mint with few signs of wear & play MMBST84193)
