THE BEATLES The Beatles' Second Album (A pristine example of the extremely rare Japanese 2nd Odeon Records issue from May 1967, manufactured by Toshiba Musical Industries and pressed on trademark Ever-Clean transparent RED vinyl, with an OdeonRecords black label & silver print. Also known in Japan as The Beatles No.2 album, as displayed on the super rare green Odeon Records obi-sash, this record in Japan featured 14-tracks whereas the US album release with the same name carried just 11-tracks. The silk-laminated flip-back picture sleeve remains in near mint condition, a simply incredible example. The back cover is unique to the Japanese pressing and features a black & white Dezo Hoffman image - the whites on this sleeve are unfaded, almost popping with brightness! The spine print remains clearly legible, pinched top & bottom, and there are no seams splits at all. Inside the cover you'll find the original double-sided lyric insert, and the original Ever-Clean picture advert inner with its top flap intact. And for only the seond time, we are pleased to present this example with its original green Odeon Records [not Apple] obi-sash in place, complete with its ¥1,700 reorder section intact on the back. The beautiful Ever-Clean red vinyl LP record itself remains in near mint condition. A top archive-quality example, complete in every regard and most likely unrepeatable! OR-8027)
