Absolute classic collection from the artist/musician who was a cult figure in the NY late '70s/early '80s music scene - this compilation focuses on his underground disco recordings [he was also prolific in classical, singer-songwriter, indie & more!], featuring the stuning Francois K mix of ‘Go Bang’, the Larry Levan mix of ‘Is It All Over My Face’ alongside other wonky, wayward delights in the shape of ‘Wax The Van’, look out for the 13 minute plsu mix of the impossible-to-find ‘In The Light Of The Miracle’ and the private pressing only ‘Pop Your Funk’ - if you've never heard him, this is a great way to start!
