QUEEN Jazz (Exceptionally rare 1986 Japanese 13-track vinyl LP, manufactured by Toshiba EMI Ltd, a reissue that has become almost mythical in its rarity. This series coincided with the initial wave of Queen albums being issued in Japan on Compact Disc by EMI, and alongside those very first CD issues were some vinyl re-releases. Pitched against the new CD format these vinyl titles did not sell well at retail and consequently A Day At The Races, News Of The World, Jazz and The Gamebecame instant rarities. In fact, they're so rare we can count on the fingers of one hand the number of copies we've found over the following 30+ years. This example of Jazz remains in pristine condition throughout, the gatefold barcoded picture sleeve has its slim Toshiba-EMI obi-sash intact; inside there's a gatefold picture insert with Japanese biography, reissue discography and English lyrics, plus a separate 2-sided insert with lyrics printed in Japanese. The vinyl LP is mint. A rare opportunity indeed to add an impeccable archive-quality example to your collection. EMS-81777)
