This recording combines Tchaikovsky's famous festival overture, the '1812' with his less well known Romeoand Juliet Fantasy Overture and Slavonic March. Although the 1812 is presented here as originally conceived with chorus, bells and cannon, the extensive line notes focus on the music, not the special effects, fully laminated picture sleeve)
