(2009 UK issue 35-track 2-LP set pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL - The Shangri-Las were the voice of teens living on the margins of society, singing about motorcycles and runaways; the original bad girls.Their songs were melodramatic teen epics of love lost, social alienation and death: a bit heavy for the pop charts perhaps, but for 2 short years - 1964-66 - they were THE sophisticated boom boom on your dial, single pocket picture sleeve. Thesleeve and vinyl all remain in near as new condition)
