ISAAC HAYES Black Moses (1972 UK first edition 14-track double LP, including a couple of psychedelic soul versions of Burt Bacharach - Hal David tunes, a cover of the Friends Of Distinction masterpiece 'Circles' & 'Ike's Rap II', whichwas famously sampled by Portishead for 'Glory Box' & Tricky for 'Hell Is Around The Corner'. The records are UK pressed & housed in a German printed picture sleeve, complete with the Stax gimmick poster-sized cross cover which folds out to reveal Hayesdressed like a biblical Black Moses. The packaging shows a few light scuffs & edgewear; the vinyl has a pressing fault to Side 4 with a small series of clicks to the beginning of Medley, otherwise shows only light signs of play - a nice play copy at a good price)
