This 1968 single was pressed in the UK for export only on the black and silver Parlophone label - in the UK itself 'Hey Jude' appeared as the band's first single release on the newly formed Apple label. Apart from the type of catalogue number used (DP570) the label is identical in every respect to other UK Parlophone pressings of the time with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd.' perimeter text.

This copy has had the push out centre removed.

The picture sleeve features a colour photograph of the band taken during the filming of the 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain' promo films at Abbey Road in May 1966, with a psychedelic-style orange logo above and a Swedish language article on the band printed on the reverse.

The sleeve colours remain bright and unfaded with sharp print & no writing. There is a little minor creasing evident, particularly at the opening and there are small splits to the centre of the seams but remains very respectable indeed.

The vinyl is in superb condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for over fifty years with very little sign of play.

A nice, if not perfect, copy of this hard to find export issue.
