STEVE REICH & THE KRONOS QUARTET / PAT METHENY Different Trains / Electric Counterpoint (German pressed 6-track CD reissue of the 1989 stunning three-movement piece for string quartet & tape, a novel experiment at the time, using recorded speech as a source for melodies and also comes here expanded with Pat Metheny's 'Electric Counterpoint' which is equally as special and was later performed in concert as a tribute by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. The disc shows light signs of playand comes complete with a picture booklet containing extensive sleevenotes about both pieces)
