Tracklisting & More Information

Condition:-

Sleeve:-
Obtained from a one previous owner collection of jazz records, with many bought as exotic imports from the US at their original time of release, this is a wonderful collector's example. This sleeve has a 2" split to the top seam closest to the spine, otherwise shows just discolouration and a few annotations to the reverse, although nothing particularly off-putting.

Labels & run-out:-
The important bit of the run-out area, along with the Rudy Van Gelder 'RVG' stamp, is the Plastylite 'ear' etching both sides. This tells you this is indeed a first Blue Note pressing before the company was bought out by Liberty in the late sixties. Confirming this is the original 'West 63rd' address on the labels both side ['deep groove' side 2]. The labels have no writing or tears & there are light signs of play around the spindle area.

Vinyl:-
The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & there are just a few faint scuffs to indicate play, taken with the spindle wear, this copy appears to have been moderately played in a careful fashion, leaving it an EX- copy.
