THE BEATLES Rubber Soul (Rare 1965 UK second issue 14-track mono vinyl LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label with 'The Gramophone Co.' & 'Sold In The UK' label credits and scarce -5 matrices, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with Emitex inner. This prized pressing was cut by EMI's Hazel Yarwood, who spent most of her days in the company working on classical recordings and is touted by some as being the best sounding cut of the album out there with a perfectly balanced sound and outstanding dynamics. Condition

The sleeve shows very little wear or ageing with clean panels & round edged flipbacks with just minimal scuffing. The back panel text is clearly legible including along the spine, with no writing, marks or stains. An EX/EX+ example of this cover & very iconic.

After playtesting we believe the vocals appear 'clearer' than the earlier pressings.

Complete with the 'Emitex' inner, the vinyl is clean & grades EX with some light spindle marks & cosmetic paper surface scuffs or hairlines which have little effect on play. A great example of this Beatles collectable and rarity version - essential in any collection.
