ROLAND ALPHONSO with THE ORIGINALS ORCHESTRA ABC Rocksteady (Crazy rare 1968 UK 12-track LP on the High Note label, then a subsidiary of Trojan/B&C Records. Joined by Aubrey Adams [organ], Lynn Taitt [guitar], and the Originals Orchestra, engineered by Lynford Anderson, produced by Sonia Pottinger and conducted by Boris Gardiner, front laminated picture sleeve with sleeve notes/credits to back. The record may have originally been bought in error and perhaps played only a few times; the flipbacks are intact with the front still showing a beautiful sheen with minimal edge creasing - a clear EX+ grading, with the vinyl also a strong EX. A delightful late-60s rocksteady treasure - the first we've ever seen! HSLP5001)
