BRIAN RITCHIE The Blend (1987 US 11-track solo vinyl LP, the debut solo album from the Violent Femmes bassist, with all manner of instruments used including an Arabic tabla, Kalimba drum, keyboard programming, "anti-rhythms" & more; including an eccentric version of 'John The Revelator' and even a cover of Sun Ra's 'Nuclear War'. The picture sleeve retains its hype stickered opened shrinkwrap and comes with the credits insert and the vinyl is Excellent with just a few faintpaper scuffs to highlight play SST-141)
