MUDDY WATERS Electric Mud (1968 US first issue 8-track stereo vinyl LP on the 'deep groove' Cadet Concept label. This is the famous 'somebody-put-something-in-the-Waters' album. A relative hit for Chess, it features the exalted bluesman bellowing over psychedelicized arrangements that owe more to Steppenwolf than Willie Dixon - Waters himself complained that the drums were 'too busy' & the lead guitar sounded like 'a cat's meow'! A shame; we think it rocks! pasted gatefold picturesleeve with 8-page photobooklet. The sleeve shows just a little discolouration with no splits or tears, the booklet has just a little rusting at the staples and the vinyl is Excellent with just the odd light sign of play - a great copy and the first we have seen!
