Tracklisting & More Information

Picture Sleeve :-

The cover depicts the standard European design of the green tinted 'man on bed' image. The 'VINX 71' catalogue number is unique & the credit printed at the bottom of the back cover reads: 'Virgin Dischi SRL Milano - Distribuzione Dischi Ricordi Spa'.
The sleeve is manufactured from light paper stock and shows a little creasing to the corners. There are only a couple of faint marks and indentations present. A lovely example, the cover remains firmly intact & with both panels still clear as daylight.

Labels & Dead Wax :-

The labels are light green with dark green text & the red Italian label stamper is clearly visible on side one. With minimal spindlewear and no blemishes to the print. The matrices in the run-offs are hand scratched & read:

Side One: 'VINX 71 - 1'
Side Two: 'VINX 71 - 2'

Vinyl :-

The vinyl has been professionally cleaned on a top of the line Matrix machine. It has been play tested & we can confirm that this is indeed an entirely different mix of How Soon Is Now.
The vinyl plays beautifully & grades Excellent. Visually, there are some faint paper hairline scuffs, none of which affect play, & a little light cosmetic wear only natural with an Italian pressing. A really, REALLY, nice find.
Unique "How Soon Is Now?" Mispress :-

The version of this song is only available here. The mix is subtly different [bass, drums] & begins to sound completey different towards the end, where out of nowhere Morrissey's additional vocal harmonies appear. A delight to hear, the music comes to an abrupt close with Morrissey saying "OK?". The music then fades back in. This version is still largely unknown to even our veteran Smiths buyers in the office!

Highly recommended & one of a kind for any hardcore Smiths completist.
