SOUL FAMILY SENSATION New Wave (1991 UK 10-track vinyl LP .A quietly brilliant lost gem from the tail-end of the UK’s acid house fallout and early 90s indie-dance crossover scene, New Wave by Soul Family Sensation blends crystalline electronictextures with a pop heart and leftfield charm. Formed by Guy Batson and future Faithless co-founder Kevin Armstrong (aka Kevin Swain), the group crafted a unique hybrid of soulful vocals, balearic optimism and bedroom-studio experimentation picture sleeve.
