(Very Rare 1969 UK 6-track MONO LP, a Progressive Brit-Jazz
epic with a huge cast including John Surman, Alan Skidmore,
Mike Gibbs, Kenny Wheeler, Henry Lowther, Nisar Ahmed Khan
& more. This record was pressed in far fewer quantities than
the stereo version, which is hard to find in itself! This copy
originates from the private collection of a former staff
member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The front
laminated picturesleeve has the mono/stereo indicator hole
on the rear & comes complete with the original red-for-mono
inner. The sleeve is Excellent with just a little ring wear &
mild lift to the laminate along the spine. The vinyl is super
clean & unbanded with no track separation. The vinyl is
Excellent & reveals just the lightest evidence of play

1970 UK 6-track stereo LP on the collectable Deram label. Includes
the superb jazz-groover 'Original Peter' in its original album length
form with Norma Winstone on vocals, the sort ofcool sound Stereolab
popularised twenty years later! The sleeve is as nice as can be for a
matte cover with no laminate; there is little sign of edgewear and the
spine is in wonderful shape with the writing being very legible There
are no creases or scuffs with only a little discolouration to the edges to
show for it's age! There are just a a few light spindle marks on the
labels and the vinyl is super clean with just a couple of very light
cosmetic marks that won't affect play. A rare copy in fantastic

the stereo LP, a nine-movement piece arranged for big band
& including Part IX, as featured on Gilles Peterson's
Impressed compilation. After Metropolis received a domestic
release in theUKon the exotic Neon subsidiary of RCA, certain
countries did not recognise the 'RCA Neon' label, & so a
limited number were pressed on a regular orange RCA label
for export use, with the 'NE 10' Neon reference on label. This
copy originates from the private collection of a former staff
member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The picture
