WALTER WEGMÜLLER Tarot (Archive Quality 1973 German first press double LP box set, a one of a kind release by the Swiss painter who teamed up here with Krautrock supergroup The Cosmic Jokers, with an epic line-up of star players from the Kosmische scene including Klaus Schulze, Manuel Göttsching [Ash Ra Tempel], Harald Grosskopf, Jurgen Dollase, Walter Westrupp, Hartmut Enke & Jerry Berkers. Wegmüller had become known in underground circles for his tarot artwork, & here he takes tothemic to tell the story behind the imagery for each card. The two records, seemingly beamed in from space, are housed in a spectacular purple felt 12" square box with a stunning metallicised cover image. The labels are black & silver with custom 'Die Kosmischen Kuriere' artwork & the Ohr 'ear' logo one side, & come complete with the original '73' dated inners, foam padding, 21 cut-out tarot cards that each represent an album track & a full set of 12 cards with information in German & pictures of the performers drawn by Wegmuller himself [partly in association with Sergius Golowin], all bound together still by a broad brown ribbon & untouched. The packaging is Near Mint with all its components in check & the vinyl remains unplayed. Not only is this box set impossible to find but in this condition it is virtually unheard of...!
