VARIOUS Phil Spector's Christmas Album (Very Rare 1972 UK advance 'Demonstration Record' 13-track vinyl LP for the Apple label repackaging of the 1963 mono album, aka the undisputed greatest Christmas album of all time. Features thirteen legendary festive performances from Darlene Love, Bob B Soxx & The Blue Jeans, The Ronettes & The Crystals, all touched by the genius of Spector & recording engineer Jack Nitzsche. The labels are custom printed 'Demonstration Record - Not For Sale' both sides for review ahead of release. Obtained from the private collection of the late British song arranger, Johnny Arthey, the picture sleeve is fully laminated & grades Excellent with just a little faint ring wear. The vinyl is nice & clean & in Excellent condition with merely the odd faint paper hairline not affecting play. Back in stock for the first time in over a decade, not many of these early review pressings show up these days! APCOR24)
