THE ELECTRIC PRUNES Release Of An Oath (US issue 7-track LP pressed on 180gram High Definition Premium VIRGIN VINYL, originally released in 1968, the band's 4th album was composed and arranged by David Axelrod [as was their previous album,'Mass In F Minor'] and takes the form of Jewish and Christian lithurgy set in a psychedelic context. As the band had previously struggled with the intricacies of 'Mass', session musicians were employed to lay down backing tracks,which the 'Prunes then laid vocals over, card picture sleeve - sealed!)
