TAMLA MOTOWN The Golden Sound Of Motown (1980 UK 112-track EIGHT LP box set featuring songs from Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Martha Reeves, Four Tops, Edwin Starr, Jimmy Ruffin, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Isley Brothers, Marv Johnson, Thelma Houstan, The Commodores and many more with the eighth disc dedicated to 'The New Sound Of Motown'. Each LP is issued in its own laminated picture sleeve with tracklisting on the back and sleeve notes by Sharon Davis, all housed in a 12" x12" picture box. The box has done a great job of protecting the vinyl & their sleeves. The box has some edge scuffing and some age discolouration can be seen on the white reverse. The contents remain in near as new SM681-8)
