VANILLA FUDGE Renaissance & Near The Beginning (2008 UK issue 2-CD album set containing both of their 3rd & 4th full length releases, 'Renaissance' features the band’s own compositions alongside their interpretation of Donovan’s 'Season Of The Witch' with 'Near The Beginning' including only 4 tracks, amongst which is the Fudge’s seven-and-a-half minute reworking of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra’s 'Some Velvet Morning' and 'Break Song', which is probably the first ever recorded 23 minute live work-out, predating the Grateful Dead & Quicksilver Messenger Service by a year)
