LEE DORSEY Yes We Can (1970 UK Polydor 12-track stereo LP, quite possibly the pinnacle of album-length New Orleans funky soul, written and arranged by Allen Toussaint with backing by The Meters. This underrated gem features the title track two-parter, later brought to the charts by the Pointer Sisters, Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley, subsequently covered by Robert Palmer, plus Occapella [which even Ringo Starr felt compelled to cover!]. Both the fully laminatedpicture sleeve and vinyl are library stickered to one side, and the sleeve shows just a small unobtrusive number mark to the back cover, however it remains in excellent condition, the vinyl flawless!)
