DEEP PURPLE Purpendicular (Rarely seen 1996 Japanese promotional only 13-track [the last song listed as #14, superstitiously] reel-to-reel tape, recorded in stereo on a 19cm/sec 7'' reel. Distributed by BMG Victor, this one-of-a-kind item was intended for radio broadcast as advance listening ahead of the commercial release of the album and never offered for public sale in this form. Housed in its original textured Maxell box with wide custom black & white printed obi-strip attached, which displays tracklisting and release date details upfront and is annotated by hand at the top. A rare treat for Deep Purple collectors!)
