Pat 'P.P.' Arnold first arrived in the UK with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue in 1966 and the young American backing singer so enjoyed her visit that she decided to stay on and launch a solo career. She was signed to Andrew Oldham's Immediate Records and the result was a series ofsuperb recordings, now presented on this Repertoire CD compilation. Presented in a digipak picture sleeve complete with a picture booklet containing extensive sleevenotes by Chris Welch, telling the story of P.P. and her remarkable career)
