ELKIE BROOKS Rich Man's Woman / Two Days Away (2010 issue UK 20-track 2-on-1 CD album - Kicking off Spectrum's new range of 2 on 1 albums, this album comprises Elkie Brooks' first 2 solo albums. Originally released in 1975, 'Rich Man's Woman' featured a mix of self composed numbers and covers. 'Two Days Away' [1977] was widely regarded by both fans and critics alike as Elkie's finest work, spawning the classic singles 'Pearl's A Singer' & 'Sunshine After The Rain'. Complete with a Bonus Recording in the shape of 'Live, Laugh And Love' [b-side to stand alone single, 'Lilac Wine'])
