BOB AZZAM & HIS ORCHESTRA New Sounds (Very rare original 1968 Swedish 12-track stereo LP, later released in the US under the 'Bob Azzam & The Great Expectation' title - the Swedish press is far harder to find and features two additional tracks. Includes the sampled breakbeats of 'Rain Rain Go Away, a storming Allen Toussaint cover, plus the hammond groove of 'Tricky Soul' and a great version of the Brazilian club tune 'Berimbau'. Despite a small 1" split in the paper along the spine, the laminated picture sleeve is otherwise faultless and the vinyl excellent - a wonderful copy! SSX1035)
