LONNIE JOHNSON Blues (1960 UK issue 12-track mono LP by the field holler, with a voice akin to the 'power of 10 hurricanes', backed by Hal Singer [tenor sax], Claude Hopkins [piano], Wendell Marshall [bass] & Bobby Donaldson [drums]. The pasted laminate picture sleeve is in very good condition [half inch split at the bottom opening & some paper loss along spine] - the vinyl is excellent and priced accordingly. US pressings now command a much larger sum! BVLP1007)
