It then traces the story of the young Robert from his early days in Duluth, to Hibbing in 1947 up until 1959 when the eighteen year old Robert went off to The University of Minnesota. A year later he moved to New York. By the time he was twenty one, 'Bob Dylan' had been released. An interesting and little told story of Bob's Jewish roots & fairly orthodox upbringing that has been described as "one of the four or five most valuable books available about Dylan".
